American Academy of Orofacial Pain: Mission and Meeting Goals:

The American Academy of Orofacial Pain, an organization of dentists and other health care providers, is dedicated to alleviating pain and suffering
through the promotion of excellence in education, research, and patient care in the field of orofacial pain and associated disorders.
Through this meeting the Academy strives to:
• To establish acceptable criteria for the diagnosis and clinical treatment of orofacial pain, temporomandibular disorders and dental sleep medicine.
• To encourage research and evaluation of equipment and procedures.
• To stress the significant incidence of orofacial pain problems for both medical and dental professionals.
• To provide a common meeting ground for world wide authorities on orofacial pain and temporomandibular disorders.

Founded in 1900, the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) is the world’s oldest and largest dental specialty organization.  It represents nearly 19,000 orthodontist members throughout the United States, Canada and abroad.

You are invited to the rapidly growing American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians’ (ASIPP®) 2019 Annual Meeting, EXCELLENCE IN IPM: EDUCATION, RESEARCH, ADVOCACY. This 21st annual meeting is brought to you in collaboration with SIPMS, Society of Interventional Pain Physicians Surgery Centers and is at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday, May 3
through Sunday, May 5, 2019.  We have created an educational program of the highest caliber, tailored to the needs of physicians, mid-level providers, and staff. This will be one of our most exciting, educational, and enlightening annual meetings. This year’s educational events will include practice management, controlled substance management, regenerative medicine, interventional techniques, abstract presentations, a Resident/Fellow section for emergence into practice, and more.

We offer an extensive practice management session with multiple and intensive coding and compliance lectures. This session is ideal for physicians, but also invaluable for staff. Consider it a valuable investment for your practice. Whether you are a member of ASIPP®, or have yet to become a member, we are confident that this event will provide the information needed to help you in the evolving specialty of interventional pain management.

Vancouver has a strong pediatric medical fraternity as hosts with a strong interest in pediatric transplantation and we endeavour to entice you indoors with the quality of the research and talks that will be presented at the meeting. The meeting will start on Saturday, May 4 with 2 pre-congress symposiums including a half-day Foundations in Paediatric Transplantation Pre-symposium and a full-day Allied Health Pre-symposium. The main meeting will start in the late afternoon of Saturday, May 4 and will continue for 3 full days closing on Tuesday, May 7. During this time we hope to stimulate thoughts and discussions around the latest developments in all fields of pediatric transplantation by plenary and state of the art lectures, interactive workshops as well as poster and abstract sessions. We plan to have an opening reception as well as a congress networking event to meet old friends and make new acquaintances.
