Overview
The mission of the AACMFS is to improve the health and quality of life of patients with congenital and acquired CMF disorders by the advancement of knowledge of the science and art of CMF surgery. Fellows of the Academy will present their selected abstracts on current research and innovations in practice in the areas of:

1. pediatrics, craniomaxillofacial and orthognathic surgery,
2. trauma,
3. head and neck oncology,
4. reconstruction and
5. education, training and research.

The goal of this activity is to bring together experts in their respective fields to share scientific studies, technological advancements and clinical outcomes, to improve care for patients with craniomaxillofacial pathologies.

Keynote speakers will address common challenges in managing surgical patients. Topics include innovations in minimally invasive craniofacial repair in pediatrics, and choices in analgesics to better target pain and inflammation.
