Day on the Hill is an event established to encourage OMSs to advocate for the specialty. Legislators are most receptive to the voices of their constituents, so it is important that you, as both an OMS and a constituent, meet with your congressional offices to inform them about the issues important to the specialty, your practice and your patients. Day on the Hill gives members the opportunity to hear from members of Congress and AAOMS lobbyists on the state of play in Washington, learn tips for advocating and conveniently visit Capitol Hill for meetings with policymakers about issues affecting the specialty.
