About

The Michigan-Pittsburg-Wyss Regenerative Medicine (MPWRM) Resource Center is in pursuit of new research directions and therapeutic solutions in the dental, oral and craniofacial field, and with these come new opportunities for corporate affiliates and increased need for their commitment to translating technology. The MPWRMRC Corporate Partners Program (CPP) supports the mutual needs of industry and MPWRMRC in developing translational tissue engineering and regenerative medicine technologies needed to provide advancements in the delivery of dental, oral and craniofacial therapies. This is accomplished by providing appropriate mechanisms for technical information exchange, research collaborations, trainee advancement and technology transfer with MPWRM investigators.

Each corporate partner will receive:

  1. Representation on the MPWRM Resource Center Corporate Partners Advisory Council;
  2. Participation in vendor-neutral settings to explore key challenges, technical matters and opportunities with highly qualified thought leaders from both academia and industry;
  3. Attendance at an annual Stakeholders Summit that features overviews of research programs funded by MPWRM’s Interdisciplinary Translational Project (ITP) program, working sessions on aspects of technology translation, elevator pitches of the latest technology development in the dental, oral, and craniofacial (DOC) complex area, networking sessions and other opportunities to initiate collaborations and mechanisms to exchange ideas, concepts and techniques for advancing the DOC industry;
  4. Exposure to novel, cutting-edge technology development coordinated meetings, institutional visits, and other one-on-one mechanisms; companies are provided a preview of the latest research findings from resource center investigators and the funded research programs;
  5. Leverage research investments through collaboration with MPWRMRC researchers;
  6. Access to faculty expertise for problem solving, consultation and research collaboration;
  7. Access to specialized, state of the art instrumentation and capabilities available at the MPWRM institutions;
  8. Access to funding for research investigations through the ITP Program;
  9. Collaboration opportunities on SBIR /STTR and other grant opportunities on projects of interest to the industrial partners;
